If I Can, You Can

Hey guys!

Its Dev. I’m just trying to figure this whole blogging thing out. A few of you know this is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, talked about probably for two years now? I’m finally making the effort to put pen to paper, or rather fingers to keyboard and see where this goes!

I’ve had a passion and interest for nutrition and wellness for the last 10 years or so, ever since I started to take control over my health and lost about 80 pounds! Mind you, it was a learning process- which I’ll save for another post- and although it was super hard and self -love and body image is still something I’m working on (I mean aren’t we all, in some sense or another?) I’m grateful I went through those experiences, especially so young, because now I can actually relate to so many people who are struggling with health, losing weight, gaining weight, fitness and anything else in between.

Over the last few years, I’ve fallen in love with weddings, and everything there is to do with planning one. But what really caught my focus was the Bride. Most of the time (don’t come for me.. I said most) the Bride puts everything on her shoulders. And she is left feeling overwhelmed, deflated, and exhausted. And is even more distraught because she thinks she’s supposed to be feeling that glow and loving feeling 100% of the time.

But in reality, when a Bride (or anyone) focuses on themselves first, everything else falls into place.

I’ve learnt over the years that I am also pretty insightful, and although I wouldn’t call myself ‘spiritual’ I definitely have always believed in vibes in one way or another. I’ve also been the person that so many people in my life come to about their nutrition and yoga questions (for obvious reasons), relationship woes (regardless of myself being in one at the time), or just general venting. So I realized.. “I can do this on a bigger level. I can help people with my story or experiences and the even ideas I haven’t shared yet”

And here we are.

There is always a silver lining though! Although I haven’t actually put too much out about my blog or website or business, I have been taking pictures, writing down a ton of notes in my phone and pinteresting the hell out of shit for the last couple years so I’m HOPING  this new found motivation will stay steady and I’ll have a ton of content for you guys to explore through (and PLEASE leave comments and feedback!) over the next little while!

In the mean time, you can follow along with me on Instagram and Facebook, where I’ll be posting updates on when my new program is up and running!

Talk Soon,

Dev xo
